My promise to you.

I’ve been in your shoes. I’ve been the woman who worked so hard to muster the courage for a shoot, all while thinking if only… if only I was thinner/taller/moved better/was more confident…. I was equal parts excited and terrified even though I knew what to expect because I was already a boudoir photographer! I went to a salon for hair and a MAC counter for makeup, I packed my heels and lingerie, I brought a friend to help with styling and then I had a total panic attack half way through my shoot. I’m not telling you this to make you nervous, I’m telling you this because I want you to know that even given my messy nerves and breathing into a paper bag recovery, that shoot changed my life, and it also changed the way I shoot boudoir.

My boudoir sessions are full experiences. We will talk a lot beforehand about what to bring, what your style is and why you are shooting or what you hope to get from the experience. This helps me get to know you and you, a better idea of what to expect. When you arrive at your shoot I want you to already feel like you know me. I’m goofy, silly, a little loud, I have no filter, I’m afraid of heights and I prefer hugs over handshakes. You’ll have plenty of time to set your things down and take a deep breath. I’ll always have great music and a glass of bubbly if that helps calm your nerves or feel more festive. You’ll be pampered by my stylist with hair and makeup and, just like girlfriends do, we will chat and laugh and shake out all the nerves. I want you to be comfortable and confident before I even pick up the camera. My shoots are fun and flirty! I will help you pose, I will tuck in your tags, I will remind you to breathe and we will have the best time!

All of my clients tell me that they leave their shoot with their back a little straighter, their head held a little higher, with an extra bounce in their step and a giant smile on their face. You will too. Promise.
