What do I wear?

If I wasn’t a photographer I’d be a professional shopper! I love helping people select their outfits, shoes and accessories and I know what sort of things work well and look best on camera. This is why we do a consultation beforehand; the answer isn’t one size fits all.

Generally speaking though, you’ll want to bring what makes you feel sexy or comfortable and what fits your figure best. That may be several different pieces or nothing at all. A simple bra and panty set, your partner’s favorite work shirt or sports jersey, lacy lingerie, confidence and a pair of heels… there is no wrong answer and you can absolutely bring it all!

What if I’m not a model and I’ve never done photos before?

I have photographed women of all shapes and sizes and no one comes in knowing how to pose. Take a big, deep breath - this is why you’re hiring me. I will help you find your inner grrr and show you through your images just how amazing you are, just the way you are! How many times have you been told, “I wish you could see you the way the rest of the world does?” You’re going to love your images and the new found confidence you leave with.

Will my photos be on the internet?

Never without permission! Every client I feature has given me permission to share their images (even the anonymous ones). I would never betray the trust you put in me for any reason. If your images are for your eyes only, that’s totally understandable. If you are comfortable allowing me to add them to my portfolio, I would be honored. Seeing women of all shapes, ages and styles helps future clients understand that you don’t have to be a model to have the most incredible boudoir images to treasure forever!

Who sees my images?

Me. Period, end of sentence. Your privacy is very important to me.

I have problem areas, do you Photoshop?

I do. We all have parts of our bodies we wish looked a little different, for me it’s my thighs. Though I know you are beautiful exactly how you are, and I will pose and light you to accentuate your natural assets, I also understand wanting certain things touched up. I hand edit all final images to polish the photo and also remove blemishes, spots and stretch marks. It’s important to me that you look like yourself though, so you’ll never see an over-softened or unrealistic edit.

Do you offer hair and makeup?

I insist on it! I want you to feel your best and who doesn’t love being pampered? Having a stylist on hand also gives you the opportunity to make changes to your look with your different wardrobe selections.

Who will be at my shoot?

I will definitely be there with my stylist, so two women for sure. There are some women, however, who prefer a male photographer and that’s totally fine! My husband Walter, who has been a photographer for over 20 years, is responsible for roughly half of the portfolio on this site. He’s very professional and a ton of fun to have onhand, he’s also a great assistant and can help with lighting when I’m shooting, but ultimately it’s what makes you most comfortable. If you want ladies only, it’s ladies only. Also, if you wish to bring a friend, that’s totally cool too!
